Position Summary: Provide operational leadership to individual contributors and hourly workforce to ensure the execution of daily tasks and activities including driver deliveries, loading/unloading of trailers, cross docking and customer service operations in a manner consistent with company services and cost objectives. Review daily orders for additional private fleet opportunities based on above requirements. Salary: $60,400 - $81,400; In this role, Sr. Operations Supervisor will be bonus eligible based on their performance and location performance. Sr. Operations Supervisor could earn up to 12% of their base for Max Performance. Major Responsibilities: People: -Communicate performance standards that are specific and measurable, Interview hourly associates and provide recommendations for hire, Monitor attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provide counseling and/or recognition to associates as needed. Operations: -Supervise logistics operations including customer service, freight loading and unloading, dispatch and proper documentation and procedure control, Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work methods to increase productivity of dispatch/warehouse operations. Assist in new associate training, Provide relief coverage for operational duties when associates utilize time-off or are absent from the shift, Have a thorough working knowledge of the site's operating systems in order to ensure operational compliance and correct exception resolution, Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion. Finance: -Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures such as inventory accuracy and control, returns, damages, etc, Understand the relationship between decision-making and profitability, Closely manage associates' working hours and activities to minimize overtime and to meet or exceed productivity targets. Safety: -Ensure day-to-day management and associate activities are in alignment with the location safety strategy, Provide associates with communication, training, feedback, and direction to ensure safe performance, Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures. Growth / Customer Experience: -Understand the location-specific customer goals & objectives, Ensure the customer knows that we are committed to helping them meet their objectives, Determine areas that could benefit from Continuous Improvement efforts. Fleet/Assets: -Properly plan work assignments to ensure effective use of fleet/warehouse equipment, Work with hourly associates to ensure they understand safe and efficient operation of equipment. $.56 CPM base for all miles (we pay practical miles) + accessorials/bonuses + benefits (medical, vacation, holiday) + per diem + yearly pay Increases + longevity bonus
Or
$.66 CPM all miles (we pay practical miles) + accessorials/bonuses (no health insurance, no vacation pay, no holiday pay) + per diem + longevity bonus
Additional Pay Plan Benefits
Total pay includes accessorials such as layover, detention and additional stops/pickups
Layover pay is $150 per night
Detention pay is $20 per hour and starts one hour after appointment time
Holiday Pay is $150 per holiday
Additional stops/pickups pay $25 each
Total pay includes all bonuses
Safety bonus is paid quarterly at $.03 CPM per billable mile (if qualify)
Weekend deliveries are a $100 bonus

Job Duties:
Operate tractor-trailer combination with reefer unit
Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment

Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures

Stellar Support: The Assistant Director works closely with the Site Director to ensure the program stays in compliance with state regulations in New Jersey.
Guiding Compliance: Ensure staff and the program follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and any rules set by the host school.
Bringing the Fun: Lead fun, hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Plus, youll assist with homework becoming the go-to homework hero!
Managing Like a Pro: Assist in essential management tasks, such as maintaining accurate attendance and registration records, and ensuring the program is properly staffed to run smoothly.
Communication is Key: Keep parents and family members informed through the Playground App, maintaining open lines of communication.
Team Collaboration: Regularly communicate with your direct report to ensure theyre updated on daily events and address any issues that arise. By working together, well provide exceptional care, create a positive working environment, and proactively solve any challenges that come our way.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's Degree in Education, Psychology, Health Care, Nursing, or a related field with at least two years of experience working with children

Head Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals, Professional Impact New Jersey
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be prepared to undergo a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and SEL & SCR through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.
